CEO & Founder
Sustainability data analyst in Stockholm before founding Carbonkindle in 2023. Spent three years reviewing portfolio company climate disclosures — and observing the systematic gap in how US-EU cross-border companies produce GHG data. Built the platform she wished existed.
Dr. Maren Haugen
Head of Climate Science
PhD in atmospheric chemistry. Maintains Carbonkindle's emission factor library — sourcing, versioning, and validating factors from IPCC AR6, EPA, DEFRA, and Ecoinvent. Owns the GHG Protocol methodological alignment and Scope 3 calculation accuracy.
James Okafor
Head of Engineering
Previously built data ingestion and transformation pipelines at a data infrastructure company. Leads the Carbonkindle calculation engine, activity-data normalisation layer, and the timestamped audit trail that third-party verifiers depend on.
Sofia Reyes
Head of Customer Success
Spent four years at a sustainability advisory firm running double materiality assessments and preparing clients for CDP and CSRD disclosures. Guides Carbonkindle customers from data mapping through their first complete GHG inventory and ESRS E1 filing.
